Privacy Policy

Who I am

This website is operated by Michael Geraghty, trading as Bodycoach Dublin 12, a personal trainer based at Longmile Road, Dublin 12, Ireland. You can contact me at info@bodycoach.ie or on 085 731 0384.

What information I collect

I only collect information you choose to give me. This happens in two ways:

• Contact form. When you submit a message through bodycoach.ie, I receive your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and the content of your message. This is processed by Formsubmit.co on my behalf and delivered to my email inbox.
• Direct contact. If you call, WhatsApp, or email me directly, I receive whatever information you include in that communication.

I use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use this site. This collects anonymised data including pages visited, time spent on site, and approximate location (country/region level only). No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics, and the data is used solely to improve the site.

Why I collect it

The only reason I collect your contact details is to respond to your enquiry. I use the information you send to:

• Get back to you about your training enquiry
• Schedule an initial call or session if you decide to proceed
• Communicate with you as a client if you start training with me

I will never use your information for unsolicited marketing, sell it to third parties, or pass it to anyone outside of what's necessary to deliver my services.

Legal basis for processing

Under GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), I process your data on the basis of legitimate interest — specifically, to respond to an enquiry you initiated — and where you become a client, on the basis of contract (to deliver the service you've engaged me for).

How long I keep your data

Enquiry emails are kept in my inbox for as long as is reasonable for business purposes — typically no longer than 2 years unless you become an ongoing client. If you ask me to delete your information, I will do so promptly.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data I hold about you
• Ask me to correct inaccurate data
• Ask me to delete your data
• Object to how I'm processing your data
• Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (Ireland) at dataprotection.ie

Third-party services

Formsubmit.co processes contact form submissions on my behalf and delivers them to my email inbox. Your name, email, phone number, and message are transmitted through their service. See their privacy policy at formsubmit.co/privacy.pdf.

Google Analytics (GA4) is used to understand how people use this site. Google collects anonymised usage data including pages visited and general location. See policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Google Fonts is used to load typefaces on this site. Google's servers receive your IP address as part of loading fonts. See policies.google.com/privacy.

Changes to this policy

If I update this policy, the revised version will be published on this page with an updated date. I won't notify you unless the changes are significant.
